You'll need a valid Illinois driver's license, proof of immigration status or a U.S. passport, your Social Security number, and two proofs of Illinois address (such as a utility bill or lease).

You'll need to pass the CLP (Commercial Learner's Permit) written exam before hands-on training, and a final exam consisting of a pre-trip inspection, parking/backing skills test, and road test.

ELDT (Entry-Level Driver Training) is the federal training standard commercial driver trainees must complete before taking their CDL skills test. All-In CDL runs an ELDT-compliant curriculum covering both theory and behind-the-wheel instruction.
